Things I'd like to invent

I'd like to see an applet for my Palm PDA that allows me to backup to my SD card. My Zire 31 has 14MB onboard, and I have a 1GB SD card that's got 883.5MB free after music and applications. My PDA recently (while I was at my parents' for the weekend for our trip to Sea World) reset itself and I wouldn't be able to get my information back on it until I got home. (I lost some anyway though.) Wouldn't it be nifty if I could back up my contacts/calendar/etc to my card? Edit: My husband's Sony Clie can do this. It's one of the things I doubt would work if I beamed it to my Zire. It needs to be a palm applet, not a Clie utility.
